The Gay Pride in Rome has become a tradition over recent years. But does it help to breakdown homophobia or just reinforce the stereotype of homosexuals and homosexuality. Whilst the city of Rome tolerates Gay Pride does Italy as a country tolerate homosexuality and does it respect the rights the gay community expects and demands.
